Poke, Poke, Poke! I think it’s Numb already Geeeez!

I think the Dr. packed this one way to soon! He could have put this guy in the hand’s of one of the PTZ family members like H.S. as an example and boy I would have loved to put my rubber gloves on for this one myself! We all would have got it done right LOL!

YOUTUBE NOTES: The incision and drainage of an infected sebaceous cyst. This procedure was done in the emergency room.

  • Good grief!! That cut was kind of excessive, don’t you think? Could of been a great payload if he had only squeezed it. It’s gonna leave a scar! Frustrating. Thanks all the same, poppintime!

  • all I can say is WOW. was it really necessary to cut that gigantic hole? that’s gonna leave a mark, fer shur. 🙁
interesting find, poppintime, now I know never to go to the ER with something like that!!

  • Holy **ZIT**. At first I thought, ‘what are they talking about, the hole isn’t that big,’ but then he widened it. The skin around it looked stretched already, so I don’t know how anyone is going to be able to s**ZIT**ch that together. Poor guy. And what was with the no squeezing? Grrr.

Thank you for posting anyway, poppinfresh. Pus is pus, and we’ll take what we can get. 🙂

  • At about 1:19 on the video it looks at if it stopped filming for a nano-second then resumed – wonder if there was some squeezing goin’ on that we missed 🙁 Wonder if his fellow med students refer to this doc as the Crater Maker behind his back!

  • They butchered this man! I NEVER saw anyone cut like that for such a small **ZIT**p. I have been plagued by these things I ever had one tennis ball sized cyst/abscess on the inside of my thigh and never cut me like that!

  • There was another cut like this recently in another vid where it left about a 3 inch scar on a girls knee. With all the new techniques this method is outrageously inept. These docs should come to us for help!

Thank you for posting poppintime, sorry about my neg remark but this to me was butchery….and why was in done in emerg?

  • I don’t usually leave negative comments, but this poor person would almost have been better off with untrained friends popping their cyst on the kitchen table! The doctor who masequerred (sp??) this person needs to go back to med school!

  • I agree with the incision being way too big. But I can’t help but ask myself if there is a possibility of something else happening here. Maybe the tissue was infected to the point that it would be better to just remove it all? Or something else thats super fancy medical. I’m no professional, but it just boggles my mind to think a doctor would just do this with out any reason to… thoughts?

    • Nothing about this was right. First with the 18+ needle sticks around the cyst to numb it. Then the initial incision could have been half the size the doc chose to make it. Then with the second incision mimicking methods I’ve really only seen in Mexico and India. I hope this wasn’t done somewhere super-visible on the guy’s body, and that it also doesn’t get infected.

I don’t think it’s enough to call this malpractice, but it’s certainly enough to warrant an inquiry at this hospital. Did the doc come to work drunk?

    • I did write to this person and she said it was just a sebaceous cyst without complications. She has about a 2 1/2 ‘ scar going down her leg and still cant bend her knee after 2 weeks. No other problems.

      • sorry wrong vid, I think I’ll go back to sleep now..the other post is here, 3:00am commenting is not suggested…lol

  • OMG, I thought this tissue removal was a bit excessive too. However, as a nurse, I don’t know the situation of the patient and doctor. I do know he seems a bit hack happy

  • The pus flow at the beginning was unexpected, and a big plus!

ATTENTION: ER docs that are unsure of proper techniques for releasing the contents of cysts, please contact Pop That Zit. Thank you, that is all.

  • Do you think this doctor might be trying to build his own person at home?

I got ‘im one piece at a time, and it didn’t cost me a dime. You’ll know ‘im when he walks through your town…

  • I believe all that was needed here was a slice and a couple of good squeezes. WTF was up with the big hole he cut, that was so not needed. I kept waiting for the squeezing to start but it never happened, how can you have a boil like this and not give it a bunch of good squeezes? I just don’t understand what this Doc. was thinking of. I really believe that this was the first boil he had ever seen and had not clue what he was doing….Gosh….DwS….Plus, what was up with the circle of numbing, are you sure this was even a doctor, I am beginning to wonder, maybe it was an intern..Sure looks like it to me….

  • Uhhhh….I believe one of the patients from up on the psych ward wandered downstairs and put on a Dr’s white jacket. A nurse just stepped out into the hall from this poor young man’s room and said, “Dr., would you mind stepping in here for just a minute and **ZIT**ist the young man with a cyst? All the other docs seem to be really busy right now.” To which our young 7th floor patient replied, “SURE!! Be happy to!!!” Hehe

  • I honestly don’t understand the point of all the cuting. In my opinion the size of the cyst was so much smaller that before they began all the Ginsu knife action. The doc is just showing off. Payload could have been better wth a small hole and some pressure applied.
