Inflammation of lacrimal sac is known as dacryocys**ZIT**is. Lacrimal sac opens into eyes through c**ZIT**iculi, so due to blocakage of nasolacrimal duct, it happens. To know the exact site of blockage dacryocystography to be done.

Warm compression helps a lot in draining it and helping in pain relief. You can see the pus coming out of the eye. Flush the sac (syringing) with normal saline and give proper antibiotic by systemic or oral and local route. If blockage is not opened sinus may form or surgery is required. In case of child m**ZIT**age of sac is required for treating it.
